find it hard to imagine what our state would be like without NASCAR. Racing, and specifically NASCAR, is an inextricable part of the fabric that makes up our fine Tar-Hell state, with roots going back as far as the 1920’s. The Top Dogz Towingfirst NASCAR race was held right here in Charlotte on June 19th, 1949, and it’s most famous driver Richard Petty was born in nearby Level Cross.
As North Carolina natives and racing fans, we atIt’s no wonder that NASCAR had chosen our fair city as the location for it’s Hall of Fame, which opened to the public in 2010.

Experiencing the theater

While the video may change periodically, the unique state-of-the-art venue can accommodate around 300 people with a screen and sound system that makes you feel like your right there in the pits.

Known as the most interactive area in the 40,000 square feet hall, this facility gives you the feel of what it’s like to prepare a car for race day. You get to experience behind the scenes of what NASCAR team goes through on the main event to prepare a car and hit the race track.

Hall of Honour
It is the place where your NASCAR superstars are honored for years of hard work and consistency. Ths hall honors the inductees that are connected with the sport for years with dedication and pure love.

Glory Road
The banked ramp connecting to the second floor of the facility will lead you to the Glory Road that people dream of visiting. It features 18 historic cars and includes 40 current and history tracks that give you a sneak peek of what NASCAR is all about.
Glory Road is all about experiencing the good side of NASCAR as you don’t get to see historical cars and tracks every day.
Racing Simulator
Want to feel the driver’s experience and perspective on the race day? That’s possible when you get your hands on the visitor’s favorite Racing Simulator. Tension, atmosphere and vengeance, you get to experience it all on the Racing Simulator.
Heritage Speedway
Here at the Heritage Speedway, visitors experience the stories of NASCAR’s history of more than 60 years through individual galleries. From matchday to rumors these stories cover all the insights of every single thing.
