As North Carolina natives and racing fans, we at Top Dogz Towing find it hard to imagine what our state would be like without NASCAR. Racing, and specifically NASCAR, is an inextricable part of the fabric that makes up our fine Tar-Hell state, with roots going back as far as the 1920’s. The first NASCAR race was held right here in Charlotte on June 19th, 1949, and it’s most famous driver Richard Petty was born in nearby Level Cross.
It’s no wonder that NASCAR had chosen our fair city as the location for it’s Hall of Fame, which opened to the public in 2010.
As NASCAR lovers, and a Charlotte towing business, we wanted to share our thoughts on the favorite things to do at hub of all things NASCAR…
